1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,그러자 수아 사람 빌닷이 대답하여 말했다.
2 “ Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.Dominion and fear are with him; He maketh peace in his high places.“주권과 두려움이 그분께 있으니, 그분은 그 높은 곳에서 평화를 이루신다.
3 Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?Is there any number of his armies? And upon whom doth not his light arise?그분의 군대를 누가 셀 수 있겠는가? 그분의 빛이 비치지 않는 자가 어디 있겠는가?
4 How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?그러니 사람이 어찌 하나님 앞에서 의롭다 하겠으며, 여자에게서 난 자가 어찌 깨끗하다 하겠는가?
5 Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight:보라, 달조차도 밝지 못하고, 별들도 그분 보시기에 순결하지 못하거늘,
6 How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!하물며 구더기 같은 사람이며, 벌레 같은 인생이야 오죽하겠는가!”
